Up for purchase is this FANTASTIC fossil specimen in genuine Dominican amber. Deep from the mines of the Dominican Republic comes this incredibly RARE extinct Cephalotes hispaniolicus aka Gliding Ant. An arboreal species, it's flattened wing-like body parts and legs allowed it to glide from the tree tops for short distances. Accompanied by a gorgeous hairy Spider. Piece has natural seams which is typical of true amber... Beautiful!
