Deep from the mines of the Dominican Republic comes this lovely huge piece containing a massive SWARM of over 82 Ambrosia Beetles, along with the wood plugs they exude while tunneling. They were once inhabitants of the now extinct Hymenaea protera tree. PERFECT for backlit shelf display. Piece has natural flowlines/seams which are typical. Beautiful piece!
